Graphical 2D Frame Analysis is a free and open-source
2D frame analysis software for civil and structural engineering.
The project is written in C# and available on
GitHub
and SourceForge .
Ideal for students and teachers, providing interactive visualization and numerical results.
Features
Axial force, shear force, bending moment, displacement, absolute displacement diagrams/graphs with values.
Draw beams, columns, supports, loads, and intermediate hinges graphically.
Supports spring, inclined and guided roller supports, intermediate hinges, support displacement.
Output: matrices, load vectors, support reactions, global displacements, local forces.
Open-source, C# implementation, Windows OS compatible.

Release Notes – v1.0.0.2
Both C# VS 2008 .NET Framework 3.5 and C# VS 2019 .NET Framework 4.7.2 versions provided.
If both Visual Studio versions are installed, open VS 2008 first, then open the solution.
